Social media marketing

Social Media Marketing

You either love it or hate it.

Social media can be an absolute joy to do but some business owners find social media marketing mirrors the feeling of going to the dentist.

As I always say to my clients, you need to address social media marketing in the same way as any other marketing activity - it needs to be goal driven, focused, relevant and measurable.

Posting and tagging on Facebook whilst having a coffee with your mate is not the same as creating a strategic campaign to a targeted and profiled audience.

Have a look at some of my social media success stories and then give me a call.

Social Media Marketing Examples

Social media posts crafted for engagement

Give Facebook What it's Designed For (and look what happens!)

Facebook has (annoyingly) changed the way it works.  You can't do multiple tagging anymore which forces you to be more focused on content.  Facebook doesn't like posts blatantly advertising competitions but it does like community spirit...

PR that turns interest into appointments

Facebook loves people

Facebook is all about people telling stories to engage their readers.  Even in business, it's important to bring the 'me' into a post.  People buy from people they like, so if you create post or a story which helps an audience understand who you are and what you do, then the engagement and traction will follow.

Strategies that work

Understanding how different social media platforms work and their individual target audiences paves the way to creating social media strategies which work.  Incredible Edibles is a small, sandwich shop in the middle of Dundee.  We needed to find a story which would create traction on their Facebook page rather than just simply posting images of their food.  The story was their story, the story of Incredible Edibles being privately owned and run by these 2 sisters.

Launch posts

This Facebook post went out as Dr Noodles became live on the Zippy D App which happened to be just after 5 pm on a Friday night.  Even when the stress is on to post, creating the right content and engaging with your audience at the right time, ensures good traction.

New product launch

This post was part of a strategic Facebook marketing campaign to launch the Crieff Food Co's new range of Nae Bother Suppers.  It goes to prove that if you have high quality visuals with a strong message going out to a targeted audience, then good traction will follow.

Kick-start recruitment

Using Facebook as a recruitment platform in  a strategic, digital format was a new way forward for ana recruitment.  This was one of ana's first posts exploring how Facebook could be used as an active recruitment platform.
