For me, success is having that fizzy, excited feeling when I've helped a client achieve. The achievements may be marketing or commercially led, it might be because of the training I have given, the growth they visualised, or the team I recruited and trained for them.
More importantly though, what does success look like to you? Once you recognise what makes you sing, all we have to do next is to build on that so that success comes naturally - eat, sleep, rinse, repeat.

Graham Sutherland opened a brand new patisserie and coffee shop at Inchmarlo Golf Centre, just outside of Banchory town centre, in April 2023.
One of my existing clients recommended him to me and it has been an absolute pleasure to begin managing Graham's brand and new business success.
Together, we have massively increased his social media following and consistently manage to maintain a highly engaged conversation with his audience. This has seen a direct affect on the footfall visiting his shop and buying his delicious treats.
We are now in the process of delivering his dream of being able to nurture and develop, the next generation of Scottish pastry chefs.
Projects completed to date:
CNG Design supply and install quality kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms from Stonehaven down to Dundee (and everywhere in between). Owner and director Chris Graham wanted to come out of lockdown with a smile making order book.
As marketing consultant, I approach every client exactly the same way - by taking them through an in-depth discovery session. By drilling down into CNG Design, I was able to clearly see and map out a strategy for exiting out of lockdown. This is a pathway to small business marketing success.
Chris knows what he's doing. His ideas are great but like most business owners, his time is short and he needs to rely on someone to activate and manage his marketing campaigns.
CNG Design's social media platforms have been activated and the engagement we now receive is fantastic!
All the marketing activities which have taken place have all been strategically driven with the end result that CNG Design now has a full order book!
So it's hats off to everyone at CNG Design - because it takes team work to make everything fall neatly into place.
Projects undertaken to date:
The company has always been, and continues to be run by the Hutcheson family.
Alistair Hutcheson established the company back in 1961 when Hutchesons installed and maintained central heating systems.
Now, Hutchesons of Portsoy has become one of the North East of Scotland’s best loved supplier/installer of woodburning, gas and electric fires and stoves.
HoP have 2 showrooms. Their main showroom is in Portsoy which houses one the largest displays of woodburning stoves outside of the Central Belt along with electric range cookers as well as an impressive selection of gas and electric fires, fireplaces and surrounds. The other showroom is located within the Treehouse in Midmar, just outside of Inverurie.
Xtra Pair of Hands has been working with HoP since 2021, managing all their social media, marketing and digital marketing activities.
Scardroy Homes is one my most recent new clients and I am loving the variety this client brings to the table.
With 6 properties to manage and market, we have been working hard on activating their social media platforms and updating all the imagery so that it matches the expectations of each target market.
Scardroy Homes' apartment in Falkirk is perfect for contract workers at Grangemouth for example, whereas their property in Alford is a 7 bedroom detached bungalow which is great for group golf bookings and family get togethers.
Run by a dynamic business owner, this role is very much a 'roll up your sleeves and get on with it' position - all of which I love!
Classic Ibiza is a summer concert series staged at some of England's finest stately homes from June to September. The vibe is white island classics performed by the Urban Soul Orchestra and supported by DJ Goldierocks.
It is always a pleasure to be able to align the right products with the right event and Unwanted Wines was just perfect for this outdoor, high octane, family event.
Organised by Sinclair's Catering, Taste Angus was an annual food and drink festival staged at Glamis Castlem nestled in the heart of Angus.
In 2017, I was asked to join the team to secure sponsorship for this event. We subsequently welcomed:
I helped the event organiser (Lucy Mackay) with all aspects of the event from securing and managing Candice Brown (Great British Bakeoff), managing her book sales, managing and overseeing all aspects of on-site sponsorship from set up to take down to pre-event marketing and PR activities.
Held over 2 days, Taste Angus attracted an audience of over 4,000 families from across Scotland.

Working closely with the CEO in Aberdeen, my role was to manage the marketing and development of this £5m turnover private enterprise.
Having just re-branded, I was instrumental in developing the ana brand. I implemented focused commercial and small business marketing arketing strategies which directly resulted in:
